- About flashing in flash0 via XMB. The CRC error should happen only when writing to kd and vsh/module.
- No JSO support planned

I have installed the M33-3 and the NetHost in IR Shell 3.61 doesn't work. In the version M33-2 it worked perfectly.
And in France there are many bricks with this update... have you any bricks listed ?
How can you explain the many bricks with this update ?

One question i have is what if you have a user account at a criminal web site but have not logged in for years? Do i get bricked? :(

If they really is SO clever,i hope they have a fix for this mess they made for peoples psp (bricked).

If they have a personal problems with that ps3 site,they can just tell people to not download from there, becouse then you can end up with a brick or something,but noooooo nothing like that,lets just fu..k up everyone`s psp, just becouse they downloading the file from a different place and not from pspx.ru:dash:

In the readme.txt there is a line that sounds like they tell you what to do to fix it :O You should read that again.

While I fully agree with your LICENCE I have to report that there are several people who now don't trust you guys, they wonder what sites your going to ban people from next.

Bollocks I know, but there are quite a few people expressing this belief on plenty of PSP related forums.

There is nothing in the txt file saying how to fix your psp,except:

delete browser cache of both,
psp and pc, and stop visiting that site.

Ihave read the read me.txt before i installed the update but that didnt help did it?No.And yes they are responsible for bricking my psp,they should not harm the users of the firmware like this,its not right.No more testing their firmware EVER if the dont fix all people psp who has gotten bricked.:rtfm:

About the bricks, I think they're right. They DO WARN the people on the readme about the consequences of running the file IF downloaded or uploaded by someone who has downloaded it from ps3news. They've already warned people before, on the other updates about that site. You should stick to sites that really support homebrew producers, they sure are the community.

I have download update from here ( rapidshare ) but it don't work .
I just get the 3.52M33-3 update from one of PSP-Hacks Live Chat users and that worked !

Proud to say My Psp is 3.52 M33-3!!!

I Hope Ahman or M33 Releases something that gets back the ISO functionality of IRSHELL (it seems that the update breaks it)
anyway it was a successful upgrade!

very cool update, i think there is a bug thow. when i use the vshmenu to access flash0 or umd disk, the psp will not turn off, i use the button i use restart prx nothing. i have to take battery out and then it is ok. it makes this some times, but i had it 3 times so far. anyone else?

Which I then upgraded to the standard M33 v3.52
Then M33 v3.52-2 Update
Then M33 v3.52-3 Update (Despite it bricked me last time) <- And it worked the second time. I am running a good M33-3 from a bricked M33-3 and just a few of my games lost there save data, ISO's where fine

When you people using piracy(dont tell me about legal backups - thats bullshit) you must know what you are doing. If you are comlete noob just dont use CFW at all! Stay on official Sony's firmware and be happy.

To avoid bricks just follow these simple rules -

1. Download CFW only from trusted source - pspx, maxconsole, pspupdates, psp-hacks
2. Dont visit ps3lamers site! Its dangerous anyway.
3. Dont use faked memory stickes
4. Dont modify installer.

And thats all! Are these rules so hard for you? Then fuck off, the only responsible for your brick is you.

I recommend check MD5 of eboot.pbp before updating!!

I know i have done the wrong thing by going to ps3lamers site and getting the update off there, but is there any way i can redeem my psp without fishing out $100 for a mod chip?

I fully regret what i did, and i promise not to go there ever again. I only went there because there was a comment, saying that the update was "there". I didn't know the official team m33 site, so i just downloaded the update from there. They must have taken out the readme and licence.txt, and so i did not know that i would get bricked. Only when i downloaded it of QJ.net, was when i realised i was bricked for going there.

Is there any sort of 'unbricker' you will realease? And once again, my full apoligies for going there.

hi if i used an easy installer to install 3.52m33 and the m33 update 2 can i still use update 3 without bricking

I just installed and all worked fine. I love the new USB modes. Easier UMD ripping :)

About semi-bricked PSPs, If you can get to the recovery then just put the M33 installer in /PSP/Game/Recovery and run it, then after it makes the new dir just delete the Recovery dir then rename the new made update to Recovery and run it again.
I did it that way and it works fine. Had to reboot about 3 times to get all the Recovery dirs correct but it works.

As long as recovery works you dont have a full brick. Its when you cant get to recovery that it turns into a brick. In that case just swap the motherboard with a working one and all is good again.
