Cant play online with iso
 

First of all id like to thank team M33 for creating CFW and updating them so fast ^_^ you guys rock.

I have 3.52-4 M33 and I have isos in the right folder, I can play the games but when I try to play them online the screen doesnt list any games it just sticks there and the wifi green light just keeps flashing. I use WiFiMax (USB access point) just got it today and it works great with thte browser and all but now with iso's online. Can someone please help me?

no problems for me. exactly what are you trying to play? ratchet and clank?

Oh, hmm I got Socom to work. The game that doesnt work for me is Untold Legends - Brotherhood Of The Blade.iso and I really wanted to play that game online, its awesome :(

But some other games work, so thats cool. Does anyone know why some games dont work online?

I tried Rainbow Six Vegas but it gets online but I cant find anyone to play with so not 100% sure if it works or not.

try getting a better dump. it's best when you dump your own game.

Just now try to play online in Untold Legends 2 and MGS: Portable OPs. All works good.

If someone wanted to play online with an iso of their umd and found that it wasn't working, they could always try the umd and see if they are able to access online content that way.

However, if someone downloaded a game iso from the internet instead of making a backup of their own umd, then they might find that the iso they downloaded had online features removed in order to reduce file size.

Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade supports Ad-hoc multi-player only. for online play you must use Untold Legends: The Warriors Code.

Ohhh, ok that explains a lot jeffthree. Although some games dont work online, but now we know that the feature has been removed to reduce size, thanks a lot for answering my question :stinker:

glad to help, and really Warriors Code is the better game anyway. bu that is just my oppinnion.
